Shyam Vinaykumar Garikipati is a Home Automation Engineer at Apple with over 11 years of relevant experience in the field of IOT and Cloud Development. He is passionate about building IOT systems right from Controller Board selection, integration of various wired and wireless sensors, API design and development, server-side coding, and cloud integration. He has gained extensive experience in using various tools and software such as NodeJS, Python, MongoDB, JSON, Git, Jenkins, and AWS IOT suite (Cognito, Lambda, MQTT, EC2, Redshift, DynamoDB, SNS, etc). Shyam started his career as an RF Engineer and has since been driven by his curiosity towards IOT and Cloud Development. He has worked with leading companies such as Viasat Inc. and TCS, where he was involved in IOT Cloud Development using NodeJS and AWS to build the platform for connected pool equipment. He was also responsible for the design and architecture of QA automation using Katalon Studio. Shyam has gained experience in operating systems such as Linux, Mac, and Windows, and has worked with various hardware boards such as Wifi/Bluetooth/Zigbee Controller Boards and Sensors. He has a strong educational background, having completed his MPC from Narayana Junior College and his schooling from Aditya Public School. Shyam is skilled in using AWS, Web, NodeJS, Javascript, Flask, Integration, Mobile, Python, Software Engineer, QA, MongoDB, Jenkins, and has a passion for building futuristic systems. He is always willing to share his knowledge and experience in IOT and Cloud Development and is open to collaborations.
